Trey Songz gets lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault dismissed - after woman claimed he exposed her breast without consent at pool party

A judge has dismissed a lawsuit accusing Trey Songz of sexual assault after he allegedly exposed a woman’s breast back in 2013.

The case was dismissed after the judge found the plaintiff had failed to respond to Songz’s motion to dismiss, according to TMZ.

Songz, who was recently hit with another lawsuit accusing him of sexually assaulting two women, was accused of exposing a woman’s breast at a pool party during the Foxwoods Liquid Sundays with Trey Songz event back in 2013.

The woman – who filed under the pseudonym Jane Doe – first sued Songz, 39, in June after sending a demand letter to him the year prior.

She sought over $5 million to settle the issue out of court in her demand letter. Songz didn’t comply, and she subsequently sued him.

The woman claimed in her suit that he exposed her breast from her bikini top and also alleged there was video to prove it.

The plaintiff claimed it was done without her consent and was tantamount to sexual assault, an allegation that had been vehemently denied by Songz and his team, according to TMZ.

The original complaint was amended by his accuser in July and in September. Songz subsequently filed a motion to dismiss, citing statute of limitations.

His requested was granted by the judge, but the judge also allowed Jane Doe to amend her complain a third time.

Jane Doe did amend the claim, but Songz filed another motion to dismiss on December 29 after finding her claims closely mirrored her earlier allegations.

Doe appears to have never responded to the latest motion to dismiss, leading to the case being dismissed, TMZ adds.

In her original lawsuit, the woman not only went after the Grammy-nominated singer, but also the R&B star’s production company, record executive, Kevin Liles, and also Atlantic Records.

In the documents, she stated that the ‘multiple defendants’ are responsible because they should have been aware of his ‘sexual proclivities’ and further claimed that they ‘failed to keep Trey under control during the event.’

Her attorney, per TMZ, claimed that the woman was ‘humiliated’ following the incident and resulted in ‘long-lasting emotional distress.’

Due to the ’embarrassment’ that also followed her, the attorney claimed that the woman quit her ‘promising career’ just months after the alleged assault.

She was seeking a total of $10 million in damages in her lawsuit and also included a video that caught the incident on camera.

However, Trey’s attorney, Michael Freedman, slammed the allegations in a statement to TMZ.

‘This is yet another example of decade-old allegations being repurposed into a federal case to take advantage of California’s constitutionally questionable new look back window. We look forward to vindicating Trey on the merits in court.’
