Donald Trump “by any fair comparison” has “tremendous stamina and mental acuity” compared to US President Joe Biden, according to former Trump senior advisor Christian Whiton.

Mr Whiton spoke to Sky News Australia on Sunday about recent unfolding events being seen in US politics.

He also discussed Joe Biden’s recent address to the nation in which the President defended his own memory and mental acuity.

Mr Whiton said President Biden is “clearly beyond a state of minimum faculties necessary for this job”.

“This is someone who might have to make a split-second decision about the use of nuclear weapons – hopefully it never comes to that,” he said.
