Edmonton weather: Puddles, puddles, everywhere

When I was a kid, I loved this time of year. The puddles were everywhere but they would freeze overnight. In the morning as I would walk to the school bus you could crack the thin ice with your boot. There was something so simple and satisfying about the sound it would make and the ooze of the murky water underneath.

Oh, to be a kid again!

We are in the heart of puddle season and if temperatures continue to stay in this range it won’t be long and there won’t be snow on the ground anymore.
