Sky News Business Reporter Edward Boyd says quite a few economists believe the RBA will re-enter a “hiking bias” and leave the door open for further rate rises.

The Reserve Bank is widely expected to keep interest rates on hold today but the chances of a rate cut this year appear to be fading.
“Where things are at in the economy, inflation a little bit higher than expected in the March quarter, unemployment rate is still very low,” Mr Boyd said.
“The economic growth is holding up okay; it is slowing down a little bit but still holding up.
“There is a lot of suggestions that the RBA may need to lift rates.”
