EastEnders’ Hunter Owen actor reinvents himself

EASTENDERS star Charlie Winter looks unrecognisable as he revealed he’s stepped away from acting in favour of a rap career.

The actor played Hunter Owen who arrived in Walford with his mum, returning character Mel – played by Tamzin Outhwaite – in February 2018.

Charlie released his first rap single on YouTube in 2019 after recording it on a day off from filming in Albert Square.

The actor’s first effort was called Cheeky Chappy Flow and its video was filmed in London’s Regent’s Park.

The lyrics are full of banter about his looks, saying “keeping it simple smile and dimples,” as he sends out a message to his “haters,” saying “girls see you and they blink and leave”.

Then in January 2019, he wowed his fans with the release of his second rap video, which samples Ultra Nate’s classic 90s track Free in his track Overdue Freestyle, after it was confirmed he’s been axed from the soap.

The gritty black and white video sees Charlie, who goes by the name Chaz, rapping about his life while hanging out with pals.

They have since tried to cover up any evidence of their implication, as Faye previously spent several months behind bars for attacking Adam Barlow whom she had confused with Ray Crosby.

Faye realises that truth time has come when Craig mention an e-fit of the girl the postman saw at Ted’s flat, adding that the composite resembles Emma.

    Emmerdale boss promises explosive fight

EMMERDALE bosses have promised an explosive battle to buy The Woolpack later this year.

The pub is currently gutted after being blown up by Al Chapman on Christmas, and there’s going to be a battle for who buys the pub and re-launches it.

It will also see Chas and Paddy struggle to cope with their home gone for good.

Producer Laura teased things getting even worse for Chas and Paddy this year.

She said: “Things might get a little bit worse for Chas and Paddy before they get better.

“From the ashes of Christmas Day, we're going to see a shiny new Woolpack emerge this year.

“And the fight for who's going to control it will definitely be on.

“Who's going to be victoriously holding their keys at the end of it though?

“Who's going to have their name over the door? You're going to have to watch to find out.”

EastEnders fans seriously distracted by baby blunder

GRAY Atkins put his plan into action last night as he registered his son Jordan's birth alone.

However, EastEnders viewers were puzzled and wondered how the serial killer could do so in the absence of his wife Chelsea.

Baffled EastEnders viewers all took their confusion to Twitter with one writing: “it's against the law for a dad to register a birth without the mother? Gray wouldn’t have been allowed?”

One startled viewer chimed in: “I didn’t know dads could register the birth on their own.”

“Thought mums register the birth? So confused”, wrote a third social media user.

“Didn't think fathers could register the child's birth without the mother”, penned another viewer.

A fifth commented: “He shouldn’t have been allowed to register the birth without Chelsea there. You can’t put the father's name on the birth certificate without them there. Should go both ways!”

However, according to the UK Government either parent can register a child's birth on their own and can include both parents' details if the couple are married or in a civil partnership.

Corrie viewers slam Chesney & Gemma's plot hole

CORONATION Street fans have hit out at inconsistencies in Chesney and Gemma’s poverty storyline.

The family are said to be so poor they are unable to afford even basic food-stuffs for their eight members.

In last night’s episode Gemma raged at her mother for buying a loaf of bread when they already had some being baked for them by Craig Tinker.

But fans have hit out at the unrealistic storyline pointing out there are four working adults in the house – so there’s no reason for them to be poor.

One wrote: “So 8 people are living in Chesneys…all 3 adults are working plus 5 x child tax credits and yet they are piss poor…”

A second said: “They'd get child benefit x 5 too, with all of them working with zero travelling costs to work there's no reason they should be completely potless.

“They’ve suddenly nothing to eat either apart from Craig's bloody bread.

“We can get school clothing grants in Scotland to help with uniform costs, not sure if anything similar in England or if local authorities could support but poor Joseph should have more than one holy jumper.”

Another added: “And Chesney and Gemma would be getting thousands in benefits.

“Absolutely ridiculous trying to make out they are skint #Corrie”
