Delhi Weather Update: Light Rain Expected In National Capital Today; Check IMD Forecast For Next Five Days
Weather Updates: Delhi, the bustling heart of India, is gearing up for a change in its weather pattern. The residents of the national capital and its adjoining areas might get some relief from intense heat as the India Meteorological Department has predicted light rain or drizzle accompanied by gusty winds on Thursday. As per the weather department, Delhi will witness a generally cloudy sky with light rain. Today, Delhi will record a maximum temperature of 36 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will hover around 22 degrees Celsius.
On Wednesday, Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 20.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season’s average. The IMD had forecast a partly cloudy sky and very light rain or drizzle accompanied by gusty winds, however, the city remained dry.
Delhi Weather In The Next Five Days
The maximum and minimum temperatures in the city will hover around 37 degrees Celsius and 22 degrees Celsius for the next five days. The sky will remain partly cloudy and thunderstorms with rain are predicted for April 19. As per the weather forecast, the national capital city could witness strong surface winds during the daytime on April 21.
Earlier IMD had predicted that scattered rain accompanied by thunder, lightning, and strong winds is expected in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Kerala, Mahe, and other states until April 20.
