Dry Spell To Continue In Bengaluru Till May 5, Some Relief From Heat In East India | Weather Updates

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has said there will be no respite from heatwave conditions over East India till May 1 and over South Peninsular region for the next five days. The weather office has also extended red alerts for Odisha, Bihar, West Bengal, and Rayalaseema.
The IMD, however, stated that heavy rainfall and thunderstorms will likely continue over Northeast India during the next five days. These states include Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and others.
According to the weather agency, Bengaluru will continue to see dry weather till May 5. The city is also likely to see a maximum temperature of around 37 degrees over the next 48 hours, Hindustan Times reported.
