A drone attacked a Russian oil base in the Kaluga region, resulting in an explosion. The UAV assault on the facility took place overnight, reports Baza Telegram channel.

Drones attacked the Kaluganefteprodukt oil base in Lyudinovo.

“As a result of the crash of two UAVs of the aircraft type, a tank with gasoline with a volume of almost 700 cubic meters exploded. Half an hour later, a third drone fell on the territory of the oil base,” the report says.

The head of the Kaluga region reported on the alleged crash of three UAVs at the oil base. According to the governor Vladislav Shapsha, there were allegedly no casualties or damage.

Drone attacks in Russia

Drones attack Russian territory almost daily. Earlier in the morning, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the alleged destruction of as many as 17 drones.

As it assures, 9 of them were allegedly shot down over the Bryansk region, three each over the Kursk and Kaluga regions, and two over the Belgorod region. At the same time, Shoigu said that the drones did not fall on the territory of the oil base, but nearby.

There were also reports of a massive fire near the KamAZ plant in Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan.
