Radu Dragusin turned down a move to Bayern Munich to sign for Tottenham His agent has suggested the transfer could be a stepping stone for a future moveWould Tottenham be clear at the top of the league if they hadn't lost some of their best players to injury? It's All Kicking Off
Radu Dragusin’s agent has risked the ire of Tottenham supporters by claiming he sees his client at Real Madrid in ‘three of four years’, ahead of completing a move to north London.
Tottenham are set to seal the £25million signing of the 21-year-old centre back from Genoa.
Dragusin had turned down a move to German champions Bayern Munich to move to Tottenham, with the deal expected to be confirmed imminently.
Florin Manea, Dragusin’s agent, appeared to suggest he is viewing Tottenham as a stepping stone to a future move.
Manea told the Romanian outlet Digisport that the defender is targeting playing for Real Madrid or Barcelona in the future.

‘I was looking at a picture from when we started together at Juve, I was looking at how skinny he was,’ Manea said.
‘We are only at the beginning of the road, we want them to reach the best clubs in the world.
‘We were close, Bayern is among the biggest clubs, but his dream is Real or Barcelona.
‘If he was 23-24 years old and had more experience, maybe he would have decided to go to Bayern, but I also took into account the age, and the competition, I took into account many things
‘In three or four years I see him at Real Madrid.’
Manea had previously said he had his ‘mind blown’ after Dragusin turned down Bayern Munich to sign for Tottenham.
‘Radu had given Spurs his word to Spurs and chose to respect this,’ Manea said. We’re still mind blown a bit.’
Dragusin had come through Juventus’ academy after joining from Romanian side Regal Sport Bucuresi in 2018.

Eric Dier has been pictured in Germany ahead of his £2.5million transfer to Bayern Munich
The centre back played four times for the Old Lady before moves to Sampdoria, Salernitana and Genoa on loan.
He joined Genoa on a permanent basis in 2023 and has made 22 appearances for the club in all competitions this season.
Tottenham identified a centre back as a priority position to sign in the transfer window, with full backs Emerson Royal and Ben Davies recently deputising for the injured Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven.
Dragusin was due to fly to London on Wednesday to complete his deal to Tottenham, and sign what is expected to be a six-and-a-half-year deal.
Out-of-favour full back Djed Spence is set to go in the opposite direction on loan with an option to buy.
Dragusin’s arrival has opened the door for Eric Dier to leave Tottenham, with the centre back set to complete a £2.5m transfer to Bayern.
