A member of the Grenadier Guards has been carried away after fainting during the Colonel’s Review at Horse Guards Parade in London on June 10 ahead of The King’s Birthday Parade. At least three others are thought to have fainted too.
The Colonel’s Review is the final evaluation of the parade before it goes before Britain’s King Charles III during the Trooping of the Colour on June 17.
Similarly to the King’s Coronation celebrations last month, almost 1500 parading soldiers will get together along with 200 horses and 400 musicians in a wonderful display of military precision, horsemanship and fanfare to mark The King’s official birthday.

The Prince of Wales has paid tribute to soldiers who took part in a military parade on Saturday in near-30C temperatures in London.
At least four troops appeared to faint in the hot weather during the Colonel’s Review at Horse Guards Parade, with William acknowledging the “difficult conditions”.
In a tweet he said: “A big thank you to every solider who took part in the Colonel’s Review this morning in the heat. Difficult conditions but you all did a really good job. Thank you. W.”

The annual event has marked the official birthday of the British Sovereign for over 260 years, and it is much-loved event in the British calendar, with royals gathering on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch the Trooping the Colour RAF flypast each year.
June 17 will mark His Majesty King Charles III’s first Trooping of the Colour as Sovereign.
The parade moves from Buckingham Palace and down The Mall to Horse Guard’s Parade, alongside Members of the Royal Family on horseback and in carriages. The display closes with an RAF fly-past, watched by Members of the Royal Family from Buckingham Palace balcony.
Their Majesties relish their time to unwind
This followed after The King arrived in Romania last week for a private visit and a break from official engagements almost a month after his Coronation took place.
The monarch is regular visitor to the country and is incredibly popular with the locals. As well as enjoying a strong relationship, he has a number of unique properties in the country’s Transylvanian region.
His Majesty on holiday alone as Queen Camilla is thought to be enjoying some downtime at her home in Wiltshire.
