Dragon Capital continued to reduce ownership in Kinh Bac

Dragon Capital sold 781,500 shares of KBC in the session 14/4, currently only owns 8.95% equity in Kinh Bac.

Dragon Capital has just released information about reducing the ownership rate in Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation – JSC (code: KBC). Specifically, the fund group sold 781,500 KBC shares in the session of April 14.

The member fund that performs transactions are Norges Bank and Samsung Vietnam Securities Master Investment Trust [Equity] with volume of 641,500 shares and 140,000 KBC shares, respectively.

After the transaction, Dragon Capital fund group also owns nearly 42.1 million KBC shares, equivalent to 8.95% of the company’s charter capital. According to statistics, in just a short time (March 24 – April 14), Dragon Capital sold 5.1 million KBC shares.

After a period of hot increase from the end of 2020, KBC’s stock price has been almost flat recently. Closing session 14/4, this code stopped at the price of 39,500 dong / share. Dragon Capital is estimated to have earned about 31 billion dong from the above deal.

According to a document of the 2021 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, Beijing set the target for total consolidated revenue to skyrocket to VND 6,600 billion, three times higher than last year’s revenue. Total consolidated profit after tax is targeted at VND 2,000 billion, up 573%. If this plan is achieved, this will be the company’s record result so far.
