Donald Trump’s latest request to delay hush money trial is rejected
Donald Trump was rejected for the third straight day in his attempts to get a New York appeals court to intervene and delay his hush money criminal trial. Donald Trump’s lawyers went to court again on Wednesday asking the appeals court in New York to issue what is known as an emergency stay. They argue that they are still seeking to remove the trial judge from the case and that they are fighting some of his pre trial rulings rulings that they say have really Hanford their ability to defend the former president. An appeals court judge held an emergency hearing and then swiftly issued a ruling denying that request. That means that, barring further court action, the trial will begin on April 15th with jury selection.
