Donald Trump faces a challenge as she must secure more undecided voters to sway the outcome of the 2024 elections in his favour, according to an expert.
Louis Perron, a political consultant based in Switzerland, offers a sobering assessment of Trump’s political strategy. Speaking of Trump’s many campaign rallies, in which Trump rouses his crowd of supporters, Perron argued these events were not necessarily helpful.

“I think it is however different with swing voters, who are most likely the ones who will decide the election. For them, the trials remind them of what they disliked about Trump to begin with, namely his character and the constant chaos and turmoil.”
This skepticism among swing voters comes as Americans seem more divided than ever on choosing their next president. According to a Pew Research Centre survey, 49% of registered voters are currently favoring Trump or leaning toward him, while 48% support or lean toward Joe Biden.
However, most voters from the survey express little confidence in either candidate across key traits, including fitness for office, personal ethics, and respect for democratic values.
While Trump enjoys an advantage in perceptions of physical and mental fitness, Biden fares better on measures of ethical conduct and respect for democratic values. However, both candidates face significant doubts among voters, reflecting widespread dissatisfaction with the political status quo.
Amidst this backdrop, Trump’s legal challenges loom large, with 45% of Americans believing that his actions related to overturning the 2020 election broke the law.
This perception is particularly pronounced among Democrats, highlighting the partisan divide over Trump’s conduct.
