“I thought somebody had maybe taken a BB gun and shot my car,” the Jacksonville woman told the outlet.
Barr called the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and investigators pouring through security camera footage found the four-legged culprits.
Video showed two grey dogs tearing off the car’s front tire and otherwise attacking the vehicle.
“If they can do that to metal on a car, they’d tear a human being up,” Barr worried.

The dogs ravaged her car around 3 a.m. Sunday, after her neighbor’s cat weaseled its way behind the engine.
The crazed canines began clawing their way into the vehicle, damaging the front bumper, fenders, and two tires, according to WJAX.
Surveillance video shows them ripping off sheets of metal to get around the wheel, leaving deep teeth marks on the car’s frame.
The cat survived the witch hunt, according to Barr, who is sure she wouldn’t have if the dogs had gotten to their target.
“There’s no doubt in my mind if they’d gotten that cat, she wouldn’t be here today,” she said.

Barr and her neighbors have no idea who the dogs belong to, or where they went after their violent pursuit. The entire neighborhood is worried about their safety and animal control hasn’t responded to Barr’s calls, according to the station.
For now, Barr, who has lived in the neighborhood for 35 years, suggests dog owners “take care of them” and not “let them be out running the streets during the middle of the night.”
It’s not the first time canines and cars have clashed.

Dogs in Texas destroyed vehicles at a dealership, to the tune of a whopping $350,000 in damages. A couple of dogs terrorized the G Motors dealership on three different nights, tearing off bumpers and fenders.
One of the dogs, Dasher, went up for adoption after the event when medical staff found the pooch was not aggressive toward people.
