David Potts is looking for peace and quiet following his Celebrity Big Brother win, prompting him to keep Louis Walsh at bay.
On Wednesday, the Ibiza Weekender star chatted to Good Morning Britain ‘s Kate Garraway and Ed Balls about his relationship with Louis, who earned fourth place in CBB, and the hosts reminded David of the latter’s harsh criticism towards him throughout their stints in the reality series.
ITV viewers will remember that the former X Factor judge wasn’t keen on his co-star’s strong personality and bubbly disposition but there were clearly no hard feelings on David’s end. He explained: “Louis was very panto villain, it was all tongue in cheek, it was very wink wink, nudge nudge.”

“He would say stuff to you and then he would wink, it was like he was a producer, cast member and a viewer. If he thought something was funny after he’d be like ‘you were good in that.'” Yet when he was asked whether he was in touch with the 71-year-old, David playfully admitted he preferred to leave him be – for now.
“No, I’ve not given him my number yet because I don’t want him mithering me”, David disclosed, adding: “So I just thought I’d leave it for now, I need a couple of weeks to regroup first.”
Despite their lack of contact off-screen, the Celebrity Big Brother winner sung Louis’ praises. “I thought he was lovely. Our beds were next to each other so I used to speak to him quite a lot when I first woke up and when I was going to bed and he was sound.”
Louis didn’t hold back during his three weeks in the CBB house and he has remained just as outspoken since his exit. During a recent chat with Rylan Clark, the music manager took a swipe at his co-stars as he said: “I didn’t know any of the others before I went in. They were supposed to be celebrities.”

The admission left Rylan to laugh in shock before Louis responded stoically: “I’m just telling you what I think. It’s just my opinion.” He then added he had refused to give his own number to David following the final, doubling down on his criticism: “I didn’t give David my number – he’s a nice guy but he sings too much.”
Instead Louis found new friends in the form of Real Housewives of Cheshire’s Lauren Simon and West End star Marisha Wallace, claiming: “I gave my number to Lauren and I loved Marisha. She’s a great girl.” But David Potts isn’t the only TV pal he has fallen out of touch with. During his own post-CBB appearance on This Morning, the mogul revealed he hadn’t spoken to fellow X Factor judge Simon Cowell since he left the house.
