Some flights at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) were delayed on Thursday after a C-130 aircraft of the Philippine Air Force was stalled along Taxiway Charlie 6.
According to a Super Radyo dzBB report by Luisito Santos, the aircraft was on its way to the runway when a malfunction occurred.
The 34 passengers and seven crew members on board were all marked safe after the incident.
The C-130 aircraft has already been towed at Parking Bay 24 of the NAIA Terminal 1.
Airport authorities are still mapping the area to ensure the safety of other aircraft using the taxiway.
Amid the operation, the airport’s runway was kept open for international and domestic flights. —Sherylin Untalan/ VAL, GMA Integrated News
