Direct flights from Mumbai to Baku from November

MUMBAI: Azerbaijan Airlines will operate twice-weekly direct flights between Baku and Mumbai from November onwards, said the airline on Monday. With this, passengers from Mumbai will be able to reach Baku in four hours.

The airline has already been operating flights from Delhi to Baku twice-a-week since August. The ticket sales for flights have begun, said Zeal global group, the airline partner in India. “Flight tickets for these flights can be booked on the official website of the airline (www.azal.az), as well as at the air carrier’s accredited agencies. The ticket price includes free baggage allowance (up to 23 kg in economy class and up to 32 kg in business class), as well as a full range of cold and hot meals,” it said.

Among the new flights added from Mumbai post resumption of scheduled international operations on March 27 were LOT Polish flights to Warsaw, Finnair flights to Helsinki and VietJet flights to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh.
