Lamborghini strebt Richtung Nachhaltigkeit. Ab 2025 wollen die Italiener ihren CO2-Ausstoß um 50 Prozent reduzieren. Dazu will der Hersteller seine Modellpalette bis 2024 komplett hybridisieren. Nach 2025 soll ein elektrischer Gran-Turismo-Lamborghini anrollen.
Lamborghini-Chef Stephan Winkelmann präsentierte dazu am 18. Mai 2021 den Dekarbonisierungs-Fahrplan “Direzione Cor Tauri”. Cor Tauri ist der hellste Stern im Sternbild Stier. Er soll für die Elektrifizierungs-Strategie von Lamborghini stehen, die den Grundsätzen der Marke jedoch treu bleibt. Drum liegt auch bei der Elektrifizierung der Produkte der Fokus auf einem Höchstmaß an Leistung und Fahrdynamik liegen.
“Direzione Cor Tauri” gliedert sich in drei Phasen:
Im Zeichen des Verbrennungsmotors (2021–2022): Mit neuen Modellen wollen die Italiener das konstante Wachstum (siebenmaliges Umsatzwachstum in den letzten 15 Jahren) feiern. Im Januar 2022 sagte Winkelmann zu CAR: “Wir sind für das gesamte Jahr 2022 fast ausverkauft. Und 2022 wird das letzte Jahr sein, in dem wir ausschließlich Autos mit Verbrennungsmotor auf den Markt bringen. Es wird zwei Derivate des Huracán geben. Und es wird ein zweigeteiltes Facelift für den Urus geben. In diesem Jahr werden wir also vier neue Produkte präsentieren”. Bei den neuen Huracán-Derivaten dürfte es sich um den geländegängigen Sterrato handeln und sowie eine Variante des Huracán STO, möglicherweise mit dem Namen JV Stradale; sie könnte in der Auslegung dem Porsche 911 GT3 Touring ähneln.
Hybridisierung (bis Ende 2024): 2023 will Lamborghini sein erstes Hybridfahrzeug auf den Markt bringen. Gegenüber CAR sagte Winkelmann, dass das der Aventador-Nachfolger sein wird, “der erste Plug-in-Hybrid mit einem komplett neuen V12-Motor”. 2024 werden “der Urus und der Huracán folgen – auch als Plug-in-Hybride”, so Winkelmann, der “drei verschiedene Motoren” verspricht: Den V8 im Urus, den V12 im Aventador, und für den Huracán ein Aggregat, dass der Lamborghini-CEO noch nicht verraten wollte. Es soll aber ein völlig neuer Motor werden, der nichts mit denen von Urus oder Aventador zu tun habe. Aktuell hat der Huracan einen hochdrehenden V10, CAR vermutet für den elektrifizierten Zweisitzer einen V8, der bis zu 10.000/min dreht. Bis Ende 2024 soll die gesamte Modellpalette elektrifiziert sein. Performance und Lamborghini-Fahrerlebnis werden für die Entwickler nach wie vor im Fokus liegen. Den Gewichtszuwachs durch Batterien und E-Antriebs-Komponenten sollen Leichtbaumaterialien aus Karbonfaser kompensieren. Ziel in dieser Phase: Eine Verringerung der CO2-Emissionen um 50 Prozent ab Anfang 2025 gegenüber heute. Mehr als 1,5 Milliarden Euro in vier Jahren, die größte Investition in der Geschichte von Lamborghini, wollen die Italiener in die Hybridisierung stecken.
Erster vollelektrischer Lamborghini (ab 2025): Die zweite Hälfte des Jahrzehnts soll im Zeichen des Elektroantriebs stehen. Ein viertes Modell (neben Huracan bzw. V10-Mittelmotor-Sportwagen, Aventador bzw. V12-Mittelmotorsportwagen und dem SUV Urus) soll ein rein elektrischer Grand Tourismo (GT) werden. Der elektrische Lamborghini soll Spitzenleistungen bieten, was wie bei Bugatti eine Kooperation mit dem kroatischen Elektro-Spezialisten Rimac nahelegt, der aktuell mit der Serienfertigung seines 1.915 PS starken Supersportwagens beschäftigt ist. Außerdem besagen anhaltende Gerüchte, dass Rimac die Nobelmarken des VW-Konzerns durch eine Übernahme elektrifizieren soll.
Ob das dann ein viertüriges Coupé à la Porsche Taycan wird, ob das Auto die Premium Platform Electric von Porsche und Audi nutzen soll oder ob es doch eher ein Hochleistungs-Sportwagen mit der Technik von Rimac wird – wer weiß.
CO2-neutrale Sportwagen – auch eine reizvolle Vorstellung. Immerhin kommen die verbrauchsintensiven Verbrennermodelle der Marke global gesehen nur auf marginale Stückzahlen und dürften zudem nur moderate Jahresfahrleistungen aufweisen.
Letztendlich soll es bei Lamborghini immer um möglichst herausragede Performance gehen.
Die Lamborghini-Agenda bis 2030: Eine ganzheitliche Nachhaltigkeits-Strategie von den Produkten bis zum Standort Sant’Agata Bolognese mit Produktionslinien bis zu den Büros soll Lamborghini “grün” machen. Der Standort in Italien, eine 160.000 Quadratmeter große Fläche, ist seit 2015 als CO2-neutral zertifiziert – und ist es trotz der Verdoppelung des Produktionsstandorts in den letzten Jahren immer noch. Neben der Verringerung der CO2-Emissionen sind auch der Umweltschutz, die Nachhaltigkeit der Lieferkette, der aufmerksame Umgang mit den Mitarbeitern und die soziale Unternehmensverantwortung Teil dieser Strategie.
