Die kantonalen Polizeichefs zur Zertifikatspflicht an Weihnachten: «Ob Verpetzen der richtige Weg ist, muss jeder selber entscheiden»

Der Bundesrat strebt die Ausweitung der Zertifikatspflicht an. Lassen sich die Massnahmen überhaupt im Privaten umsetzen? Blick hat bei Polizei-Verbänden nachgefragt.

Der Bundesrat möchte die Zertifikatspflicht ausweiten – auch auf private Treffen. Neu soll der Covid-Nachweis an allen Veranstaltungen und Zusammenkünften in Innenräumen vorgewiesen werden müssen. Ausgenommen sind private Treffen mit maximal zehn Personen.

Grund für die vorgesehene Verschärfung: die neue Virus-Variante Omikron. Die Massnahmen sollen bis 24. Januar befristet sein.

Kommt mit dem Christkind auch die Polizei?

Da stellen sich unweigerlich ein paar Fragen. Etwa: Wer kontrolliert die Zertifikate unter dem Weihnachtsbaum? Müssen wir nun befürchten, dass an Weihnachten nicht nur das Christkind auf Besuch kommt, sondern auch die Polizeipatrouille? Und ganz allgemein: Lassen sich diese Massnahmen am Familienfest überhaupt durchsetzen?

Kaum – fragt man Adrian Gaugler, Sprecher der Konferenz der Kantonalen Polizeikommandanten der Schweiz (KKPKS): «Die Kontrolle der Zertifikatspflicht bei privaten Treffen im Familien- und Freundeskreis in Innenbereichen ist praktisch nicht möglich», sagt er Blick. Die KKPKS werde das darum auch entsprechend in der Vernehmlassung anmerken.

Kontrolle im Familienkreis kaum möglich

Allgemein sei aber anzumerken, dass die Polizei grundsätzlich dankbar für Hinweise aus der Bevölkerung sei. Insbesondere wenn es um verdächtige Handlungen wie Einbrüche gehe. Aber: «Ob das Verpetzen des Nachbars im Zusammenhang mit den Weihnachtsfeierlichkeiten der richtige Weg ist, muss jede Person für sich selber entscheiden», ergänzt Gaugler.

Auch für die Präsidentin des Verbands Schweizerischer Polizei-Beamter (VSPB), Johanna Bundi Ryser, ist es wichtig, dass die Corona-Massnahmen realistisch definiert sind: «Es ist schwierig, die Zertifikatspflicht im Familienkreis kontrollieren zu wollen», sagt sie Blick. Der VSPB appelliere an die Selbstverantwortung der Bevölkerung. «Wenn die Polizei bei Familienfeiern eingreifen müsste, stiesse dies vermutlich auf wenig Akzeptanz», sagt Bundi Ryser.
