tsf. Die europäischen Börsen haben sich am Dienstag nach den Turbulenzen des Vortags wieder stabilisiert. Der Deutsche Aktienindex Dax startete mit einem leichten Plus von 0,6% in den Handelstag. In der Schweiz lag der Schwergewichte-Index SMI zum Auftakt knapp über der Nulllinie (+0,1%). Der gesamteuropäische Stoxx-600-Indes hielt sich bei einem leichten Plus von 0,6%, am Vortag war er auf ein Zwei-Monate-Tief gefallen. Am Montag hatten Befürchtungen wegen einer möglichen Immobilienkrise in China wegen des drohenden Einbruchs von Evergrande zu einem deutlichen Kursrutsch geführt.

In der Schweiz holten die Grossbanken nach den erheblichen Verlusten von rund 7 Prozent wieder auf. Die Aktien der Credit Suisse legten zum Tagesauftakt um 0,5% zu, die UBS lag derweil fast 1 Prozent im Minus.

Die schweren Probleme des chinesischen Immobilienkonzerns Evergrande hat zuvor den asiatischen Börsen erneut zu schaffen gemacht. Der Hongkonger Leitindex fiel um bis zu 1,4% in die Tiefe. In Tokio rutschte der Nikkei nach dem verlängerten Wochenende in Japan um 1,8% ab. Die Börsen in Schanghai und Seoul blieben feiertagsbedingt geschlossen

tsf. Der französische Vivendi-Konzern verselbständigt seine Plattelabel-Tochter Universal Music Group (UMG) und bringt sie am Dienstag (21. 9.) an die Börse in Amsterdam. Der Referenzpreis zum Börsenstart ist mit 18,50 Euro pro Aktie festgelegt worden. Der Marktwert wird so vor dem Börsendebüt mit rund 33,5 Milliarden Euro taxiert. Der Börsengang wird in Europa der grösste in diesem Jahr sein. Universal geht davon aus, dass der von Anbietern wie Spotify angestossene Streaming-Boom anhält und bei Universal für anhaltende Lizenzeinnahmen und entsprechend für Gewinnwachstum sorgt. Universal ist das grösste Plattenlabel neben Sony Music und der Warner Music Group. Das Unternehmen verfügt beispielsweise über die Rechte an den Beatles, an Abba, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga oder Stevie Wonder. Beim Börsengang zieht sich Vivendi weitgehend aus Universal Music zurück. Aber das Konglomerat von Vivendi-Grossaktionär Vincent Bolloré bleibt grösster Aktionär.

Shell verkauft Schiefergasvorkommen in Texas

(dpa) Der Ölkonzern Shell hat für 9,5 Milliarden Dollar in bar ein Schiefergasvorkommen im Gliedstaat Texas verkauft und will einen Grossteil der Einnahmen für Aktienrückkäufe verwenden. Das Gebiet befindet sich im Permian Basin im Westen Texas. Käufer ist die amerikanische Ölfirma ConocoPhillips, wie Shell am späten Montagabend in Den Haag mitteilte. Sieben Milliarden Dollar sollen für Aktienrückkäufe verwendet werden, der Rest soll die eigene Bilanz stärken.

Der Rückkauf der eigenen Anteile laufe zusätzlich zu den bereits laufenden Programmen, mit denen Kapital an die Aktionäre fliessen soll. Mit der Ölpreis-Erholung versuchen Ölkonzerne ihre Investoren zu umgarnen, in dem vorher gekürzte Dividenden wieder erhöht werden und viel Geld in Aktienrückkäufe gesteckt wird. Shell hatte erst im Juli höhere Ausschüttungen an die Aktionäre angekündigt.

Der Verkauf des Schiefergasvorkommens steht noch unter dem Vorbehalt der Genehmigung der Behörden und soll im vierten Quartal 2021 abgeschlossen sein.

Schweizer Firmen steigern die Exporte deutlich

Im August 2021 hat der schweizerische Aussenhandel in beiden Handelsrichtungen zugelegt: Während die Exporte gegenüber dem Juli 2021 um 2,1 Prozent stiegen, erhöhten sich die Importe um 1,2 Prozent. Das unterschiedliche Wachstumstempo zwischen den Aus- und den Einfuhren liess den Überschuss in der Handelsbilanz auf einen Rekordwert anschwellen. Als Wachstumslokomotive erwies sich erneut der Sektor Chemie-Pharma (+ 810 Millionen Franken). Die Uhrenindustrie verzeichnete im August ein deutliches Plus von 11,5 Prozent im Vergleich zum schwachen Vorjahresmonat. Insgesamt wurden in diesem Monat Uhren im Wert von 1,52 Milliarden Franken ins Ausland ausgeführt.
