Did Daniel Andrews and Anthony Albanese stage a barbecue?

Twitter users have put the blowtorch on Daniel Andrews and Anthony Albanese over a seemingly innocent picture of a barbecue.

Federal Labor leader Albanese posted the picture on Saturday evening, of the two men smiling by a grill, Victorian Premier Andrews stood clutching the tongs by a flameless grill, which was home to five brown steaks.

But some Twitter users called bull on the meeting.

“If those steaks were cooked on that bbq, how is it so clean?” one user wrote, accompanied by a close up picture of said steaks.

“Where are the grill lines? Why is it off?”

Another mocked Mr Albanese’s suit, and questioned why Mr Andrews’ tongs appeared so clean.

“These tongs haven’t touched meat,” he wrote.

But those comments were in the minority, with most praising the ‘real’ photo of the two friends.

“What a great photo. Not staged. Just two mates enjoying a BBQ,” one person wrote.

Judge for yourself, with Mr Albanese’s tweet and the selfie posted below.
