Dewan Rakyat tak cukup kuorum, persidangan sesi petang tertangguh 7 minit

KUALA LUMPUR: Persidangan Dewan Rakyat sesi petang ditangguhkan selepas kerusi di pihak kerajaan kosong.

Sesi petang Dewan Rakyat yang sepatutnya dimulakan 2.30 petang, tertangguh selepas Cha Chee Chin (PH-Rasah) berkata kepada Timbalan Speaker Dewan Rakyat, Rashid Hasnon bahawa persidangan tidak boleh diteruskan kerana kekurangan kuorum.

Cha berkata, penyokong kerajaan, menteri dan timbalan menteri tidak hadir.

“Mohon Speaker minta Setiausaha Dewan Rakyat semak kehadiran terutama di sebelah penyokong kerajaan dan pihak menteri.

“Saya nampak kuorum tidak cukup,” kata Cha.

Rashid kemudian berkata, dalam dewan hanya ada 19 Ahli Parlimen dan kemudian membunyikan loceng sekali lagi, mengingatkan Ahli Parlimen untuk hadir dan masuk ke dewan.

Dalam pada itu, Teo Nie Ching (PH-Kulai) bertanya: “Di mana menteri dan timbalan menteri?”

Selepas dua minit loceng dibunyikan, Rashid berkata terdapat kira-kira 27 Ahli Parlimen yang hadir dan perbahasan Titah Diraja kemudian diteruskan oleh Ahli Parlimen Kampar, Thomas Su Keong Siong.

Dewan Rakyat memerlukan sekurang-kurangnya 26 Ahli Parlimen untuk hadir pada persidangan itu.

Minggu lalu, hampir semua menteri Kabinet dan timbalan menteri “hilang” di Dewan Rakyat selepas waktu makan tengah hari, sehingga Ahli Parlimen kecewa dan terpaksa berucap dengan kerusi kosong di pihak kerajaan.

Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman (Bebas-Muar) dalam ciapan di Twitternya berkata, kerusi pihak kerajaan kosong ketika pemimpin pembangkang, Anwar Ibrahim berdebat mengenai krisis kesihatan dan ekonomi.
