Demonstration der Massnahmen-Gegner in Bern hat sich aufgelöst

Die unbewilligte Demonstration von Tausenden von Gegnern der Corona-Schutzmassnahmen am Donnerstagabend in Bern hat sich gegen 22 Uhr aufgelöst. Zuvor hatte die Polizei vor dem Bundeshaus Wasserwerfer eingesetzt.

Der Einsatz war nach Angaben der Polizei nötig geworden, weil einzelne Demonstranten gegen die Sperre vor dem Bundeshaus gedrängt und Feuerwerkskörper abgeschossen hatten. Dieser war zum Schutz des Regierungsgebäudes – wie auch bei anderen Gelegenheiten – quer über den Bundesplatz errichtet worden.

Nachdem die Freiheits-Trychler den Bundesplatz verliessen, leerte sich dieser relativ rasch. Wie ein Reporter der Nachrichtenagentur Keystone-SDA beobachtete, kam es danach noch zu verbalen Auseinandersetzungen zwischen Demonstrationen und der Polizei in der Nähe des Bahnhofs.

Am frühen Abend hatten sich auf dem Berner Bahnhofplatz mehrere tausend Personen zu der Kundgebung gegen die Ausweitung der Corona-Zertifikatspflicht versammelt. Auf Transparenten waren Parolen zu lesen wie: “Nein zur Zerti-Diktatur” und “Nein zum Impfterror”. Wiederholt wurde in Sprechchören “Liberté, liberté” gerufen.

Immer wieder waren auch Pfeiff-Konzerte zu hören. Viele der Demonstrierenden schwangen Schweizer- und Kantonsfahnen. Aufgerufen worden war zu der Kundgebung auf den sozialen Medien. Sie war von den Behörden nicht bewilligt worden.
