Voilà un nouvel épisode de plus dans le feuilleton tumultueux entre Ousmane Dembélé et le FC Barcelone. Ce dimanche, l’attaquant français ne figure pas dans le groupe retenu par Xavi pour la rencontre face à Alaves. Logique, car le Barça a prévenu que Dembélé ne jouerait plus tant qu’il n’a pas prolongé son contrat.
Pour autant, Dembélé était tenu de se présenter au centre d’entraînement du club ce dimanche matin, comme tous les joueurs de l’effectif, pour l’annonce du groupe par Xavi. L’ancien Rennais n’est pas venu, et le FC Barcelone a indiqué pourquoi: “indisposition gastrique”, selon le communiqué du club catalan.

Il s’agit de la version officielle. Mais AS indique “personne au club n’a cru Dembélé”, et le champion du monde français s’expose ainsi à une sanction de la part du Barça, pour non-respect du règlement mis en place par Xavi. “En ce moment, l’affaire est entre les mains du service juridique du club pour évaluer la gravité de la faute du joueur et la sanction correspondante”, assure AS.
Cet épisode ne risque pas d’améliorer l’image de Dembélé, et ni de pacifier les relations entre le joueur et son club. La fin semble se rapprocher entre l’ancien joueur de Dortmund et le club qui l’a recruté à prix d’or en 2017.
