Jr. NTR & Janhvi Kapoor's 'Devara Part 1' Sets A Record With Hindi Rights Selling For Rs 45 Crores

New Delhi: Jr NTR’s upcoming film, ‘Devara: Part 1’, directed by Koratala Siva and featuring Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, is already generating buzz ahead of its release. The film’s pre-release Hindi theatrical deal has set a new record. It reflects the confidence of distributors in its potential success.

Hindi Theatrical Rights of ‘Devara: Part 1’

The Hindi theatrical rights for ‘Devara: Part 1’ have been acquired by AA Films and will be presented by Karan Johar’s Dharma Movies. As per a report by Pinkvilla, this significant deal is locked for a whopping Rs 45 crores which demonstrates the high expectations from the film among Hindi-speaking audiences. With such an impressive investment, the pressure is on for the movie to perform well at the box office.

‘Devara: Part 1’ has garnered substantial interest because of Jr NTR’s rising popularity post-‘RRR’. The success of this film could pave the way for its sequel to achieve even greater success.

With an estimated worldwide pre-release theatrical business of around Rs 200 crores and additional revenue from non-theatrical rights, ‘Devara: Part 1’ appears to be a financially sound venture for its producers.

Karan Johar acquired distribution rights of ‘Devara: Part 1’

Honoured & extremely grateful to be a part of – Man of Masses Jr NTR’s #Devara We are extremely thrilled & proud to announce our partnership for the north theatrical distribution rights for the next big cinematic experience in Indian cinema!”
