Just one day after Shedeur Sanders took to social media to reveal he would like for FAU wide receiver transfer LaJohntay Wester to join Colorado’s transfer portal class, his wish came true.
The top-10-ranked portal pass catcher took to social media on Tuesday to announce that he will be finishing his career in Boulder.
Wester had quite a productive career in Boca Raton, with three seasons of 60+ receptions, with this past season being his best one yet. In his lone year playing for new head coach Tom Herman, Wester was second in the country in catches with 108 receptions on the year. He finished with 1,168 yards and eight touchdowns on the year.
He joins what was already looking like a top receiver corps, with Colorado returning Travis Hunter and Jimmy Horn Jr. while also adding Vanderbilt transfer Will Sheppard, and a pair of four-star receivers.
Colorado’s offense likely has a case for the best receiver corps in the Big 12, if not the entire country.
