On Saturday evening, the Phoenix Suns are playing Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

Kevin Durant is playing in his 1,032nd career game, which moves ahead of Hall of Famer Gail Goodrich and Joe Smith.

He ties Hall of Famer Chet Walker and Mike Miller for 129th on the NBA’s all-time regular season games played list.

Following Walker and Miller, the next player for him to pass will be Walter Davis (1,033).

Durant came into the evening with incredible averages of 28.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.3 blocks per contest while shooting 53.9% from the field and 45.2% from the three-point range in 45 games.

At 35, he is still among the best ten players in the league and was named to his 14th NBA All-Star Game.

Right now, the Suns are the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 31-21 record in 52 games.

They are 7-3 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a three-game winning streak.

Most recently, the Suns beat the Utah Jazz by a score of 129-115.

Durant had 31 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, three steals and two blocks while shooting 14/23 from the field and 2/6 from the three-point range in 35 minutes of playing time.

Durant was the second pick in the 2007 NBA Draft and is in his 16th season playing in the league.

He has also spent time with the Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder.
