dd bekræfter: løsning på tvist om kvindelig værnepligt er på vej

Liberal Alliances partileder, Alex Vanopslagh, ankommer til forhandlingsmøde om delaftale under forsvarsforlig tirsdag aften.

Efter flere bump undervejs ser det ud til, at anden delaftale under forsvarsforliget falder på plads tirsdag aften.

Og det lyder til, at en løsning på tvisten om kvindelig værnepligt – som flere medier også har erfaret tirsdag – er på vej.

– Lad os nu se, hvad vi kommer ind til nu, siger Lise Bech, forsvarsordfører for Danmarksdemokraterne, på vej ind i Forsvarsministeriet til forhandlingsmøde.

– Men indtil videre ser det ud som om, at det lander med, at vi bliver i det store forlig, og så bliver der et sideløbende forlig med kvindelig værnepligt. Det er vi tilfredse med, siger Lise Bech.

Det store bump i forhandlingerne har netop været spørgsmålet om kvindelig værnepligt.

Liberal Alliance og Danmarksdemokraterne er modstandere af den idé og har sagt, at de vil nedlægge veto mod det i forliget.

Modsat har forsvarsminister Troels Lund Poulsen (V) truet med at opsige hele forliget, hvis ikke han kan få kvindelig værnepligt med.

Liberal Alliances partileder, Alex Vanopslagh, tør ikke garantere, at en aftale lander tirsdag aften. Men det er hans forventning.

– Men politik er uforudsigeligt. Vi er hvert fald klar til at se, om man ikke kan lukke en aftale i aften. Det, vil jeg tro, kommer til at ske, siger Alex Vanopslagh.

Han kalder tvisten om kvindelig værnepligt for “principielle og hårde sværdslag”.

Også Inger Støjberg, formand for Danmarksdemokraterne, er mødt op til forhandlingerne tirsdag med sin forsvarsordfører.

Ligesom Alex Vanopslagh tror hun, at aftalen kan indgås tirsdag aften.

– Det håber jeg i hvert fald, siger Inger Støjberg.

Hun bekræfter også, at Danmarksdemokraterne nedlægger veto mod kvindelig værnepligt.

Dansk Folkeparti forventer ligeledes, at en aftale lander tirsdag aften.

Der er “ingen grund til at trække tiden længere”, lyder det fra forsvarsordfører Alex Ahrendtsen (DF).

– Aftalen er som den skal være, og jeg forventer at alle nikker ja til den, siger Alex Ahrendtsen.

– Det haster, og vi skal have Forsvaret på plads meget hurtigt.
