Sarah sadly passed away last month at the age of 39 following a battle with breast cancer – and just six months after she told fans her diagnosis had turned terminal.
Sarah also competed in The Jump in 2016, which was also hosted by 53-year-old Davina, and the pair remained close throughout the years.
Davina made a special mention to Sarah during Friday night’s Stand Up To Cancer telethon which aired on Channel 4.
An image of Sarah featured on screens and Davina declared: “She leaves such a great legacy in her music.”
Fans were moved by Davina’s words, with one tweeting: “This tribute to Sarah Harding” alongside a tearful emoji.
While another posted: “RIP Sarah Harding, too young.”
Earlier this month, Davina opened up about her friendship with Sarah and revealed she was devastated when the singer said she blamed herself for her cancer.
Davina told The Sun: “She’d given herself a hard time for not going to sort it out earlier. That, for me, is always the hardest thing.
“My sister was given a terminal diagnosis in hospital and gave herself a hard time for not doing something about it.
“There’s nothing like the look on someone’s face when they realise that what they’re being told is there’s no treatment. This is palliative care from now on.”
She added that blaming yourself on top of that makes it “too much to handle”.
Sarah’s family shared the sad news that she had died on September 5th, breaking the news on social media, and requesting that fans remember her for her life before her illness.
Sarah’s mother, Marie, said Sarah had: “slipped away peacefully this morning.”

She added: “I know she won’t want to be remembered for her fight against this terrible disease – she was a bright shining star and I hope that’s how she can be remembered instead.”
Sarah’s Girls Aloud bandmates took to social media to express their shock and sadness, with Nadine Coyle writing: “I am absolutely devastated!!
“I can’t think of words that could possibly express how I feel about this girl & what she means to me!! I know so many of you will be feeling this way. For now I’m sending so much love to you!”Internet Explorer Channel Network
