Just gegen den nicht mehr erwünschten Ex-Trainer Giorgio Contini gelingt Lausanne-Sport der erste Saisonsieg in der Super League. Die Waadtländer schlagen die Grasshoppers dank zwei frühen Toren 3:1.

Ob Continis erstmalige Rückkehr ins Stade de la Tuilière die Lausanner anspornte? Es ist nicht anzunehmen, schliesslich war es die Klubführung und nicht die Mannschaft, die trotz erfolgreicher erster Saison nach dem Aufstieg nicht mit dem Zürcher Trainer weitermachen wollte. Fakt ist aber: Gegen die Grasshoppers, Continis neuen Arbeitgeber, legte Lausanne-Sport furios los.

Mit zwei frühen Toren schuf sich das Heimteam nach fünf Niederlagen und vier Unentschieden das nötige Polster, um nach dem Seitenwechsel eine 40-minütige Unterzahl einigermassen unversehrt zu überstehen und den ersten Ligasieg seit dem 12. Mai einzufahren. Schon nach 38 Sekunden, so früh noch in keiner anderen Super-League-Partie dieser Saison, nickte Zeki Amdouni eine Flanke von Hicham Mahou freistehend zur Führung ein. Keine sieben Minuten später versenkte Cameron Puertas einen Freistoss aus mehr als 25 Metern Entfernung im Torwinkel.

Mit zunehmender Spieldauer gerieten die Gastgeber immer stärker unter Druck, umso mehr nach dem Platzverweis gegen Fouad Chafik aufgrund einer Gelb-Roten Karte. Zu mehr als dem Anschlusstreffer durch einen versenkten Handspenalty von Léo Bonatini nach 67 Minuten kamen die Grasshoppers aber nicht. Im Gegenteil: Per Foulpenalty erhöhte Puertas zehn Minuten vor Schluss wieder. Der einzige Wermutstropfen für die nun nicht mehr am Tabellenende stehenden Lausanner: Joël Geissmann musste sich bei seinem Comeback nach zehnmonatiger Verletzungspause nur zwei Minuten nach seiner Einwechslung angeschlagen wieder auswechseln lassen.
