
Another 2,605 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,563,188.
There were 1,633 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,498,711.
There are now 28,714 active cases, of which 27,465 or 95.7% are undergoing home quarantine.
Meanwhile, 22 (0.1%) are at quarantine centres while 1,187 (4.1%) have been hospitalised.
A total of 40 are in ICU with 24 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 62.4%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 9.0%.
Another five deaths were reported, including one who was brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 35,763.
