We’re big fans of wine delivery at Reviewed, so we were excited to see what the selection had to offer.
What wines are in the Curtis Stone holiday selection?
The Ladybug Vineyard moscato was particularly called out by Stone as lacking the kind of cloying sweetness usually associated with moscatos, and the Clayhouse cabernet sauvignon also got a mention for its rich notes. You can buy each wine in the selection in a pack of three, or you can get all four wines in a 12-pack. Stone recommends buying in bulk, as up-charges on wine usually occur when you buy single bottles.
What meals pair best with each wine?
For the launch of the collection, Curtis Stone cooked up some great meals to go with the white wine and red wine in the collection. He recommended pairing the chardonnay and moscato with fish or pasta dishes like his seafood pasta, emphasizing that the moscato would be a nice complement to spicy foods. The pinot noir and chardonnay would both be great holiday picks, perfect for pairing with turkey and vegetable dishes, and the reds would be at home with heartier offerings like Christmas roasts or holiday cheese plates.
If you’re in the market for some new cookware to whip up the aforementioned meal pairings, the celebrity chef also has abest-selling cookware line sold at HSN, with everything from pasta makers to baking sheets.
Wine makes a great gift, whether you’re in the market for a crowd-pleaser or a contribution to your own wine fridge. The Curtis Stone Vintage Wine Estates selection is designed to be a compliment to holiday hosting, gift-giving and more—you can get the entire collection for $129, or start smaller with three bottles of one varietal for $41 (the value of the 12-pack is easy to spot, since you’ll save $8.75 on every bottle in the 12-pack).
