nnm 2024 ‘india alliance will win 2024 lok sabha polls, pm face post-elections’: up congress chief ajay rai
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Congress Chief Ajay Rai has revealed during a special interview with Times Now Navbharat that the INDIA alliance is poised to form the government in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, and the face of the Prime Minister will be decided after the elections. This statement was made during the Navbharat Navnirman Manch program. In conversation with the channel’s consulting editor Dinesh Gautam, the Congress leader discussed various issues including Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’, the leaked paper in UP, and the alliance with Samajwadi Party.
On the question of how the alliance is progressing in UP, Rai said that the alliance talks are on the right track. “If there are any obstacles, we will smooth them out.”
Rai stated that our fight with the BJP is not just for show. “We are fighting with strength. We believe that when you fight, you should fight with determination,” he said.
On whether he would be contesting against Prime Minister Modi this time, Rai said it’s up to the party and whatever the decision we will abide by it.
On Rahul Ganhdi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra
UP Congress Chief Ajay Rai said, “During Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’, he has taken up the bow and his arrow is being fired. Today, only Rahul Gandhi is fighting on the road. He is standing with the person who fights.”
On the leaked paper issue in UP, Congress leader Ajay Rai said that in Ram Rajya, the exam paper gets leaked. Rahul Gandhi raised this issue and the state government had to cancel the exam.
“If there is a paper leak in my government, it is my responsibility. I will take action. 48 lakh children appeared for the police recruitment exam, the fee was 400 rupees. There was a scam of several hundred rupees. I say that this exam should be conducted before the Lok Sabha elections. Those who passed the Lekhpal exam were not given appointment letters. They were beaten with sticks,” Raid said as he targeted the Yogi government.
Reacting to the sarcastic comments from SP’s Chirakut, Ajay Rai said that anyone can criticise him. He is a person connected to the ground. He is not affected by sarcasm.
Ajay Rai also talked about his association with the RSS. He said that he is not with the RSS anymore and the Sangh is also not the same as it used to be.
“Today, the RSS chief is behind the BJP. Earlier, the BJP used to stand behind the Sangh, but now the situation has changed, he said.
