COYBIG! Ireland's grand slam heroes lead Late Late Show lineup

Wondering how our boys in green celebrated that record-breaking Six Nation’s Grand Slam win? Well, we’re about to find out.

Three members of the team are togging out for Friday’s Late Late Show on what is shaping up for a mixed bag of guests.

Player of the Match Dan Sheehan, Josh Van Der Flier and Andrew Porter will join Ryan in the studio to talk all things rugby related from the surreal feeling the night before the big game to how much they popped the champagne corks when the final whistle blew.

Andrew will also chat about his support for Daffodil Day and the vital work of the Irish Cancer Society.

Also joining Ryan on the couch will be Irish podcast stars PJ Kirby and Kevin Twomey from I’m Grand Mam who will reveal why Paul Mescal begged to join their show.

They will also theorise about Irish boys’ undying love for the mammies and have more or less decided that Michael Collins would be a fan.

After that, it’s time to get the screwdrivers out as the Late Late Big Repair Challenge is back.

Laura DeBarra will unveil the five carefully selected passion projects before the results are revealed in the coming weeks.

On a more serious note, Alanna Idris Quinn, the Leaving Cert student who was viciously assaulted in Ballyfermot in an attack that left her blind in one eye and shocked the nation, will talk about how her life changed forever.

Her appearance comes as she gave her victim impact statement in court this week as her attacker was jailed for four and a half years.

Wrapping up this week’s lineup is English singer-songwriter Freya Ridings who will perform her latest track Weekends.

She will be joined by Louth artist David Keenan who will sing his viral hit El Paso.
