An artiste with roots in Edo State, Bintie Omosokpia, aka Ijoba Oti$ has said that his music inspiration comes from his background.
In a statement sent to Saturday Beats, the singer said, “I often draw inspiration from my roots, which help infuse my music with the rich cultural heritage of Edo state.”
The artiste, who is set to release an Extended Play album titled, ‘Live or Die / Choice and Chance’, stated that he hoped to make a resounding mark in the music industry. He added that the EP reflects his commitment to authenticity and innovation, offering listeners a captivating experience that transcends conventional boundaries.
Talking about what he does differently in his music, Ijoba Oti$, who is signed to Playdaddy Entertainment, said, “I have a dynamic and fresh sound that encapsulates the essence of my musical journey. Also, as a rising Gen Z music star, I am poised to capture the hearts of audiences worldwide.
“My music showcases my versatile talent and distinctive style, blending contemporary beats with a unique storytelling approach.”
Songs on the EP include ‘Baby Legs’ and ‘Amala Shitta’.
