Sky News host Paul Murray blasts the Labor government for their cost-of-living promises at the previous election which they are now bringing back for the coming federal budget.

“The prime minister is trying to pretend that he did not lie at the last election when he said cost-of-living would go down under a Labor government,” Mr Murray said.
“Two years in we now have the best part of 80 per cent of Australians … experiencing according to Finder.com.au, extreme cost-of-living pressures.
“So out and about Albo and Chalmers were trying to pretend they are going to fix everyone’s problems on Tuesday.
“They are telling everyone, it is all good, cost-of-living is going to be fixed … $36 a week better off.”
