‘Can’t get enough work’: Aussies face underemployment rise

Sky News host Paul Murray says the underemployment rates are on the rise as it hits 6.6 per cent which is up by “almost a full point in just one month”.

‘Can’t get enough work’: Aussies face underemployment rise

“The number of people who are underemployed, they can’t get enough work,” Mr Murray said.

“They can’t work enough hours, that is now 6.6 per cent.

“Up by almost a full point in just one month, December was bad, January now seems that it was continuing the pullback.

“We’ll find out formally in the next few weeks where we are moving towards the end of this month.”
