Grammy Award winning Swedish rock band Ghost and Denmark’s Volbeat will bring their 2022 U.S. tour to El Paso next year.
The 26-city tour, which kicks off Jan. 25 in Reno, Nevada, will stop in El Paso on Feb. 28, with a performance at the Don Haskins Center. Special guest will be Twin Temple.
Ghost has headlined arena tours and has opened for Metallica.
Their most recent album, “Prequelle,” is loosely based on the Black Plague of 14th century Europe. The band’s music is known for its dark lyrical content.
Volbeat, which was formed in 2001, has gone from performing in the clubs of Copenhagen to headlining stages around the world, including the famed Telia Parken stadium in Denmark.
Their latest album, “Rewind, Replay, Rebound,” was released on Aug. 2, 2019, and has created hits including “Last Day Under The Sun,” “Die To Live” and “Leviathan.”
Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at LiveNation.com The presale begins at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 23.
