- The 2024 Jeep Wrangler lineup now offers the Xtreme Recon 35 Tire package on two-door Rubicon and Willys models.
- The new kit costs $4495 and notably adds larger 35-inch BFGoodrich K02 all-terrain tires along with beadlock-capable wheels and a reinforced rear swing gate.
- The Xtreme Recon package also includes a 1.5-inch suspension lift that helps improve the off-road SUV’s clearances.
Are you tired of not being able to buy a two-door Jeep Wrangler without 35-inch tires from the factory? Well, chin up, because that’s no longer the case as Jeep today announced the new Xtreme Recon 35 Tire package for Rubicon and Willys models with two doors.
Two Doors and 35-Inch Tires
For the first time in forever, 2024 Jeep Wranglers with a single door on each side can be equipped with big ol’ tires and a handful of other upgraded off-road hardware. That’s part of the newly available Xtreme Recon package, which is similar to the one that’s already offered on four-door Wranglers.
The off-road-enhancing kit includes the aforementioned 35-inch tires courtesy of BFGoodrich, which supplies a set of LT315/70R-17 All-Terrain T/A K02s. The burlier rubber is mounted on beadlock-capable 17-inch wheels. A reinforced rear swing gate and a 4.56:1 axle ratio are included too.

A 1.5-inch suspension lift featuring specially tuned dampers is also part of the package. Jeep says two-door Wranglers with the Xtreme Recon setup have improved clearances. Their approach angle is 47.2 degrees, their breakover angle is 32.4 degrees, and their departure angle is 40.4 degrees. Along with 12.6 inches of ground clearance, they’re capable of fording 34 inches of water.
The Xtreme Recon 35 Tire package costs $4495 on two-door versions of both the ’24 Wrangler Rubicon and Willys. While it’s now available to order on the former trim, it won’t be available on the latter until sometime closer to this spring. The Xtreme Recon kit is also standard on the two-door Wrangler Rubicon X, which starts at $64,190.
