Treasurer Jim Chalmers has hinted at measures to bolster Australia’s birthrate in the federal Budget he will deliver on Tuesday, May 14.
“Mr Chalmers, guess what: you were correct in saying it is expensive to raise a child,” Ms Cash told Sky News host Erin Molan.
“We always said life wasn’t going to be easy under Mr Albanese. And guess what? We were right.”
