Cloudy weekend may end with a storm risk in southern Ontario
As we head into the weekend we are forecasting thunderstorms and 20° temperatures right across the Ontario mainly. It’s going to be for your day Sunday though, but we do have a little bit of some fog in. The forecast heading into your Saturday morning down towards cottage country on the shores of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. Does clear out by the afternoon though. And then we see another round of some fog moving in across the Golden Horseshoe Coburg down towards the Niagara Falls for Sunday morning. More so in the early half of the day. And then as we head towards a late morning into the afternoon, that’s when we have a chance to see some non severe scattered thunderstorms. Right up along the 401 corridor, Windsor into the GTA and down towards Kingston. Overall a nice day as we head into your day Saturday and mix the sun and cloud of a light drizzle possible as well. There we have those storms moving in Sunday overnight. Saturday overnight rather down towards Sudbury through Saint Marie. Seeing that little that line moving in as well as Golden Horse show up towards Kingston, Cornwall. Looking at those storms Sunday morning into the afternoon hours, not too much in terms of rainfall across the GTA though, 5 to 10mm of rainfall possible up towards to Saint Marie, Sudbury looking at roughly 20 to 30mm of rainfall this weekend.
