AMMAN — Civil Defence personnel have successfully concluded their operation to extinguish a fire that broke out in several clothing and footwear warehouses in Aqaba.
No injuries were reported, according to a Public Security Directorate’s statement released on Friday. According to the PSD’s spokesperson, specialised teams from the Civil Defence Department and the police swiftly responded to the fire, noting that the rapid response prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent warehouses. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire, the statement added.
