Chinese LinkedIn-like platform Maimai confirmed that it had recently “optimized” less than 15% of staff, Jiemian reported on Wednesday. Representatives from Maimai told Jiemian that the firm is adjusting its expansion pace as its workforce doubled last year. Maimai will keep hiring new people, Jiemian was told. Launched in 2013, the platform reached 110 million registered users in 2020, according to its official website. [Jiemian, in Chinese]
