Chelsea FC vs Tottenham LIVE!
A draw to Brighton in their last match means Chelsea have won none of their last four Premier League matches, and just four of their last 13, in a run that has taken them out of the title race.
Thomas Tuchelâs side trail Man City by 13 points, and unless they pick up their form soon their focus will instead be on the teams behind them as they potentially get dragged into a fight for the Champions League places.
Tottenham are sixth in the table, eight points behind the Blues, but they have a huge four games in hand and so the top-four race is very much in their hands.
Spurs have not lost in the league since Antonio Conte took charge, but they were well-beaten by Chelsea recently in the Carabao Cup semi-final tie which left the Italian admitting their was a big gap between the two sides.

Tuchel is furious about the treatment Hudson-Odoi is getting from Tanganga. It certainly looked like his shirt was being pulled there and yet nothing was given.
Understandable that he is so frustrated.
17:14 , Matt Verri
44 mins: Tuchel going crazy on the touchline.
Hudson-Odoi again knocks it past Tanganga, and the Spurs man does grab a hold of him but no foul given this time. Tuchel not impressed.
That probably would have been a second yellow had the referee given the foul. Dier then blocks well as Lukaku gets a shot away.
17:12 , Matt Verri
42 mins: That decision will stand, VAR wonât come to Kane and Tottenhamâs rescue.
Was minimal contact on Silva, who made the most of it and threw himself to the ground. Chelsea survive.
GOOOOâŠ. NO!
17:10 , Matt Verri
40 mins: Kane puts Tottenham in front, but the referee has ruled it out!
Sessegnon with the low ball into the box, Kane shrugs Silva off and then tucks it past Kepa. But Silva has won a free-kick, referee thinks Kane fouled him.
Very, very soft.
17:08 , Matt Verri
38 mins: A rare chance for Tottenham to break, as Hojbjerg flicks it through to Sessegnon who has the beating of Azpilicueta for pace.
Bergwijn is trying to get up with him, but Sessegnon drags a tame effort across the face of goal and the chance goes.
17:07 , Matt Verri
37 mins: Thiago Silva has company in the refereeâs book.
Hudson-Odoi knocks it past Tanganga, the right-back canât keep up with him and so hauls the Chelsea winger down. Yellow card. Nothing complex from Hudson-Odoi, but certainly effective.
17:05 , Matt Verri
35 mins: Azpilicueta makes the run to the byline, tries to lob it across the race of goal but itâs blocked behind for a corner.
Spurs have had to deal with plenty of set-pieces, but theyâre doing well. Again they clear without any real sign of danger.
Dan Kilpatrick at Stamford Bridge
17:03 , Matt Verri
Spurs are managing to keep Chelsea at bay â and there have been a few signs of frustration from the animated Tuchel â but the visitors are offering very little in the way of attacking threat.
Winks has had a shot, Bergwijn looks bright but Spurs have barely made any meaningful inroads into Chelseaâs half.
17:03 , Matt Verri
33 mins: Spurs try and press a bit higher, and Chelsea are delighted they do so as the Blues play through them and Mount has space to burst into.
Mount cuts it back into the box, Lukaku with the run to the near post but he completely misses the ball. Big, big chance. Hudson-Odoi canât find space for the shot at the far post.
All came from Hojbjerg breaking out of the shape and trying a one-man press, very nearly cost Spurs.
James Robson at Stamford Bridge
17:01 , Matt Verri
Itâs all got a bit messy here with lots of fouls. Chelsea definitely on top, but Spurs will be happy they held off that early charge.
Mount looks the most dangerous for Chelsea and Kovacic and Jorginho are bossing midfield.
Chelsea are noticeably trying to get the ball forward quickly, but the quality needs to be better.
16:59 , Matt Verri
29 mins: Tottenham not set up to have any sort of sustained possession, but their gameplan is clear as Dier sends it down the line towards Bergiwjn.
He holds it up well and draws the foul from Thiago Silva, who needs to be very careful having already been booked.
16:57 , Matt Verri
27 mins: Tanganga puts Hudson-Odoi under really pressure⊠too much pressure. Free-kick.
Kane picks it up on the halfway line, and tries to play Bergwijn through just as he did for the winner against Leicester during the week. Too much on the pass this time and it runs through to Kepa.
16:54 , Matt Verri
24 mins: Ziyech has it on the right, looks up and whips a really nice cross into the box. Lukaku is lurking but Dier is well-placed to head it away.
Bergwijn knocks it past Silva and tries to get away, but heâs tripped up. Yellow card for the Chelsea defender, he can have no complaints with that.
16:52 , Matt Verri
22 mins: Yet another Chelsea corner, deep to Rudiger and he nods it back into the six-yard box. Tottenham get it away.
Tanganga then goes flying into the advertising boards, as he gets a nudge from Mount who was trying to see the ball out.
16:50 , Matt Verri
20 mins: A VAR check for a red card, after Doherty lands on Sarrâs ankle as he goes to close the Chelsea defender down. Really painful one for the Blues man.
Sarr is going to be ok to continue, but heâs not happy at all with the challenge. Doherty escapes any punishment.
16:48 , Matt Verri
18 mins: Spurs starting to have a bit of joy on the counter. Corner is cleared and Bergwijn brings it forward.
He takes on Hudson-Odoi and beats him, but before he can look up and switch it to his teammates Azpilicueta comes sliding in to stop the break.
16:46 , Matt Verri
16 mins: Sanchez under no pressure rushes a clearance and he sends it straight up into the airâŠ. his teammates are furious with that.
Spurs clear the danger to prevent it being a really costly decision, but theyâve conceded possession. And itâs going to be another corner for Chelsea, Mount causing Tottenham a lot of problems.
16:44 , Matt Verri
14 mins: Tottenhamâs best moment of the match by far.
Kane tracks back on Chelseaâs left, wins it back and heâs calm on the ball. Knocks it inside for Winks and he drives into space and deep into Chelsea territory.
Nobody comes to close him down so he goes for the shot from just outside the box, comfortably held by Kepa.
James Robson at Stamford Bridge
16:43 , Matt Verri
This is the brightest start Chelsea have made in a while. Ziyech and Mount are both combining well on the right and dragging Davies around.
That cut inside and shot from Ziyech moments ago was like the sort of thing he produced in his first season at the club, but rarely this.
16:42 , Matt Verri
12 mins: Ziyech decides against crossing it with his right foot, brings it back inside and keeps cutting in until the space for a shot opens up. Goes for goal from 20 yards out⊠Lloris parries it away.
Was close to him without too much pace, should have caught that really.
16:41 , Matt Verri
11 mins: Kane clipped, wins the free-kick and Tottenham have a chance to breathe.
Comes back to Dier and he brings it forward from centre-back, drives forward really and nearly gets into the Chelsea box but Silva nips in to win it back. Dier then gives away the foul, but that was good from the defender.
Dan Kilpatrick at Stamford Bridge
16:40 , Matt Verri
I make this the first time Conte has started with a back four at Spurs, reflecting the disruption caused by the knocks picked up at Leicester.
It is telling that Conte would rather rip his preferred system than call on Dele, Ndombele or Lo Celso.
16:39 , Matt Verri
9 mins: Tottenham have barely had a touch so far. Trying to stay solid in their shape, but theyâre getting pulled around.
Ziyech tries to slide a ball inside Sessegnon through to Mount. Not the greatest pass, but the Tottenham full-back puts it behind for a corner.
Silva gets up well and wins the header, itâs over the bar though.
16:36 , Matt Verri
6 mins: Lukaku sends Hojbjerg flying to the ground, too strong for the midfielder.
Comes to Ziyech who is seeing plenty of the ball early on and again he can shift it onto his left foot. Shot from distance is deflected behind for a corner.
16:34 , Matt Verri
4 mins: Tottenham looking so shaky early on, not dealing with balls into the box at all.
Ziyech allowed to whip a cross in with his left foot, and Hudson-Odoi very nearly gets on the end of it at the back post. Tanganga does just about enough to put him off.
16:33 , Matt Verri
3 mins: Itâs a 4-3-3 for Chelsea, with Ziyech and Hudson-Odoi either side of Lukaku.
For Spurs, a 4-4-2 as expected. Kane and Bergwijn leading the line, pretty much all on those two to provide the attacking spark.
James Robson at Stamford Bridge
16:32 , Matt Verri
Thatâs a huge early chance for Lukaku. Mount did brilliantly to get the cross in and Lukaku, in space, should have at least hit the target.
16:31 , Matt Verri
1 mins: Chelsea could be ahead after 40 seconds!
Mount wide on the right, Sanchez comes out to close him down but doesnât do enough and the cross comes in. Lukaku in space in the box on the half-volley, sends it over the bar. Decent chance on his weaker foot.
KICK-OFF!
16:30 , Matt Verri
We are underway!
Chelsea to kick back into top gear and get their league form going again, or Spurs to find an incredibly rare win at Stamford Bridge?

Here we go then⊠Conte saying hello to some familiar Chelsea faces sitting behind the dugouts.
Players are in the tunnel. Just a few minutes until the action begins at Stamford Bridge.

Itâs not just Tottenham with a couple of notable absenteesâŠ
Leaving Kante out of such a big game is questionable. So is the lack of playing time for Havertz. Increasingly feels like Tuchel doesnât know how to include him in a forward line with Lukaku #chelsea

Tottenhamâs Giovani Lo Celso says he is â100 percent in good physical conditionâ after being left out of the squad for this afternoonâs match.
Lo Celso and fellow midfielders Dele Alli and Tanguy Ndombele were not named in Antonio Conteâs 20-man squad at Stamford Bridge but are all believed to be fit.
Shortly after the line-up was announced, Lo Celso took to Instagram to confirm he was not injured.
âRegarding the questions I received I would like to clear out that I am 100% in good physical condition,â wrote the Argentina international.
âI have no problem and I feel very well. I wish the best to my team in the derby today.â

Just under 20 minutes until kick-off at Stamford Bridge.
Tottenham will be on a high after their late 3-2 win over Leicester, but this is a real test for them.
For Chelsea, a chance to put in another dominant performance against Spurs and to get their league form finally back on track.
Warm-ups underwayâŠ
16:02 , Matt Verri

How it standsâŠ
15:56 , Matt Verri
Chelsea are third in the table, and victory this afternoon would take them to within ten points of City having played a game more than Guardiolaâs side.
Itâs very difficult to read too much into Tottenhamâs league position â they have four games in hand over Chelsea.
Conteâs men are only two points behind Man United in fourth, and so victory today would lift them into the Champions League spots. That would put them in a brilliant position, having played fewer games than all of their top four rivals.

Similarly there are plenty of different ways that Thomas Tuchelâs side could play with that line-up.
Potentially a back five with Hudson-Odoi at left wing-back, but could also be a back four with Sarr filling in at left-back. Imagine neither manager will give much away in their pre-match interview either.
15:34 , Matt Verri
Bergwijn rewarded for his stoppage-time heroics against Leicester. Itâs a flexible lineup from Conte, not certain exactly how Spursâ shape will look.
Neither Alli or Ndombele are in the squad.
#thfc Four changes from Leicester, including a start for match-winner Bergwijn. Think itâs a switch to 442 but could also be 343 â with Davies at WB & Sess in the front three. https://t.co/uVqV9ogiVF

Subs: Gollini, Skipp, White, Lucas Moura, Rodon, Royal, Reguilon, Gil, Scarlett
CHELSEA LINEUP
15:31 , Matt Verri
Starting XI: Kepa, Sarr, Silva, Rudiger, Azpilicueta, Kovacic, Jorginho, Hudson-Odoi, Mount, Ziyech, Lukaku
Subs: Bettinelli, Chalobah, Alonso, Kante, Barkley, Saul, Havertz, Pulisic, Werner
15:25 , Matt Verri
Sounds like Dele Alli wonât be in the squad for Tottenham this afternoon.
Spurs are willing to let the midfielder leave on loan this month, but there havenât been any offers coming in yet. Feels like a move that would suit both club and player.
15:20 , Matt Verri
Ten minutes until we get all the team news from Stamford BridgeâŠ
Will Conte look to try something different to how he set up when Spurs were well-beaten on this ground a few weeks ago?

Carabao Cup semi-finalâŠ
15:01 , Matt Verri
These two sides are very familiar with each other, having played a two-legged Carabao Cup semi-final earlier this month.
Chelsea cruised to a 2-0 victory at Stamford Bridge in the first leg, and it was similarly comfortable away from home as they won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Antonio Rudiger.
After the match, Conte had this to say on the gap between the sides.
âIn this moment we cannot compare Chelseaâs situation with Tottenhamâs situation,â Conte said.
âItâs not fair to compare the two situations. Itâs impossible to compare.â

Prediction
14:43 , Matt Verri
Itâs tough to look past just how easily Chelsea dispatched Tottenham in the Carabao Cup even in light of Spursâ Premier League form under Conte. Neither side has looked completely secure defensively in recent weeks, so there should be goals.
With all of the games in hand Tottenham have, victory at Stamford Bridge would be a huge statement, but they may fall short again.
Chelsea to win, 2-1.
Tottenham team news
14:31 , Matt Verri
Eric Dier is back in contention for Spurs, although Heung-min Son continues to miss out.
Conte also revealed that wing-back Emerson Royal was struggling with an injury when he was replaced at half-time at the King Power by Matt Doherty, and the Irishman seems likely to keep his place after a decent 45 minutes.
Elsewhere, Conte must decide whether to hand Steven Bergwijn a start as reward for his stoppage time double, which earned Spurs a 3-2 win against the Foxes and saw them climb to fifth.

Chelsea team news
14:20 , Matt Verri
Chelsea have been given a major boost by the return of Trevoh Chalobah and Reece James to training â but neither will be ready to face Tottenham in Sundayâs crunch clash.
Both players have been out in recent weeks with hamstring problems, which has stretched Thomas Tuchelâs squad to the limit during their punishing schedule.
Chalobah is expected to be back in action after the upcoming mid-season break, while James is also closing in on a return.
But Tuchel will again be without Andreas Christensen for the Spurs game, while he continues to recover from a back injury.
The Chelsea manager refused to give too much away regarding Jamesâ schedule when speaking on Friday, but admitted: âWe have a time frame but we will not make it public because otherwise we will just get asked about the timescale.â
Predicted Chelsea XI: Kepa; Sarr, Silva, Rudiger; Azpilicueta, Kante, Jorginho, Alonso; Mount, Lukaku, Werner.
