Checo Pérez partirá tercero en la Spint Race del GP de Miami; Verstappen será primero

Charles Leclerc se metió en la pelea de los Red Bull para la Carrera Sprint.

Como era de esperarse, los Red Bull eran los pilotos por vencer en el Sprint Shootout del GP de Miami, donde sólo Charles Leclerc se pudo meter en su pelea.

En una SQ3 sorpresiva, con base en que no mejoró las condiciones del circuito del Hard Rock Stadium, Max Verstappen logró hacerse de la mini pole position al marcar tiempo de 1:27.641, 108 milésimas más rápido que el monegasco de Ferrari, con el que compartirá la primera fila.

Cuando parecía que Red Bull se enfilaba a largar desde adelante, Sergio Pérez fue relegado al tercer puesto al terminar 235 milésimas de distancia de su coequipero, donde la sorpresa la dio Daniel Ricciardo, quien comenzará en la cuarta plaza.

Los pilotos que decepcionaron fueron los McLaren, y más, después de liderar la SQ2. Por una parte, Lando Norris sufrió en su último intento por lo que arrancará 9º, mientras que Oscar Piastri logró colarse al sexto puesto, por detrás de Carlos Sainz.

Y más atrás, los que nunca pudieron adaptarse fueron los Mercedes, donde George Russell y Lewis Hamilton quedaron fuera para la SQ3.

Se fue el primer día de actividades del GP de Miami, donde éste sabado 4 de mayo se disputará a primera hora la Carrera Sprint; mientras que más tarde se correrá la Clasificación, que marcará la parrilla de salida del domingo.
