Christmas markets season is nearly upon us, and there are already deals to be had if you’re looking to book a festive getaway.
In fact, Wowcher is currently offering two-night breaks from £89pp to nearly 20 destinations including the likes of Berlin, Budapest, Copenhagen, Prague and Vienna.
That includes both your hotel stay AND return flights too!
Basically, ample opportunity to tuck into mouthwatering gingerbread biscuits, sip on mulled wine or hot chocolate, and wander around the various stalls selling everything from gifts to arts and crafts.
You can already book the deals online but it’s worth noting that they are subject to availability. As the price is based on two people sharing, you’ll need to book two vouchers.
The cheapest prices are based on London departures from Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and Heathrow, but there are options if you want to depart from a different airport.
There is a generous window of travel dates included too, as the discounts are valid for stays between November 9, 2021, to January 6, 2022. As for your accommodation, for the majority of the destinations you’ll get a choice of hotel (there’s only one option for some of the cities such as Amsterdam, Brussels and Vilnius).
The two-night breaks are from £89pp but if you want to make a longer getaway of it, there are also three-night breaks from £99pp and four-night breaks from £109pp.
Full list of destinations included
You can read the full terms and conditions for the offer on the Wowcher listing here. Christmas market dates can vary but most run from late November through to early January, so double check the dates for your chosen destination to ensure they match up with when you can visit.
Don’t be disheartened if you can’t quite make the discounts work for you. The good news is that there are plenty more holiday deals to be found whether you’re after a city break or thinking of escaping for some winter sunshine instead.
Or, if you’re feeling brave, Wowcher also has a mystery Christmas holiday deal from £99pp which includes market destinations as well as the likes of Disneyland Paris and Lapland!
Meanwhile there are plenty of UK Christmas markets set to also go ahead with locations in London, Edinburgh and Birmingham confirmed. For example, Edinburgh’s market is due to launch in November – and you can already find heaps of Edinburgh deals for the festive season.
Travel rules and restrictions can change quickly during the pandemic so always check the latest Foreign Office advice before booking or going on a trip.
