Charles Barkley Names 76ers Fatal Flaw Following Game 6 Loss
Late Thursday night, the New York Knicks defeated the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 6 of the NBA playoffs thanks to, in large part, a late three-pointer by Josh Hart.
Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with another 40-point game, totaling 41 points on 13 of 27 shooting, three rebounds, and 12 assists. Embiid added 39 points and 13 rebounds for the Sixers before fouling out with 11 seconds left.
Following the game, the NBA on TNT crew discussed the Knicks win. Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley both agreed on what the 76ers fatal flaw was in the game and the series. Offensive rebounds.

“You go back and look at this entire series, the offensive rebounds, that was the difference in the series,” Barkley said, “the key to this series was offensive rebounds. That’s what killed the Sixers.”
In Game 6, the 76ers allowed a whopping 20 offensive rebounds, leading to a bunch of second chance points for the Knicks. This ultimately doomed Philadelphia and helped New York secure the win. This was an issue for the Sixers all series long.
The Knicks will advance and take on the Indiana Pacers in round 2 of the NBA playoffs.
