Chantelle died in 2020 (Picture: BBC)
Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) is concerned for Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) in upcoming EastEnders episodes as he overhears a conversation that leaves him wondering if she’s a domestic violence victim like his daughter, Chantelle.
Suspicions start to grow thanks to Vinny (Shiv Jalota), who is searching for answers behind Suki falling down the stairs.
When Vinny puts forward the theory of Nish (Navin Chowdhry) pushing her, Eve (Heather Peace) is incredibly concerned for her secret lover.
After overhearing Eve’s worries, Mitch starts to wonder if there’s something he can do to help.
He knocks at the door and offers to get Suki some food but Nish declines, shutting the door on him.
Nish quickly slams the door on Mitch (Picture: BBC)
As Vinny and Mitch separately continue to fear for Suki’s welfare, Nish is angry about being the subject of so much gossip, but will Mitch continue to try and help?
Mitch lost his daughter, Chantelle, back in 2020, when her violent and abusive husband Gray (Toby-Alexander Smith) pushed her onto an opened dishwasher.

The truth about Chantelle’s death wasn’t revealed to her family until 2022, when his final episode saw confirmation that he also murdered Tina and Kush.
So, with Mitch growing concerned for Suki, will he intervene in time?
Or can Nish continue to get away with his actions, much like Gray?
