Sofia Vergara said her dating rule is no men under age 50 on Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Bravo.

The single star shared her dating rule after she and ex-husband Joe Manganiello, 47, last July announced their separation and intention to divorce after seven years of marriage.

‘They can’t be younger than 50, I’m 51,’ Sofia said. ‘Okay, 49.’

‘Really that’s your rule?’ Andy said.

‘Yeah. I’m intelligent,’ said Sofia, who recently opened up about why their marriage ended, revealing her ex wanted children and she did not.

‘I’m screwed by that rule,’ Andy said.

Sofia in a recent interview with El Pais was candid about why she and Joe split.

‘My marriage broke up because my husband was younger; he wanted to have kids and I didn’t want to be an old mom,’ she said.

She explained to the outlet, ‘I feel it’s not fair to the baby. I respect whoever does it, but that’s not for me anymore.’

Mentioning her son Manolo from her first marriage to high school sweetheart Joe Gonzalez, she noted, ‘I had a son at 19, who is now 32, and I’m ready to be a grandmother, not a mother. So, if love comes along, he has to come with [his own] children.’

The Colombia native was on the show to promote her new Netflix miniseries Griselda about the Colombian drug lord Griselda Blanco, who was known as the ‘Cocaine Godmother’.

Andy, 55, asked Sofia to tell one juicy detail about her past co-stars. He started with Reese Witherspoon.

‘She’ll eat anything,’ Sofia said.

‘What about Simon Cowell?’ Andy asked.

‘He is not as serious as he seems,’ Sofia said.

‘Snoop Dog?’ Andy said.

‘He is hot,’ Sofia said.

‘Julie Bowen?’ Andy said.

‘She is my sister,’ Sofia said.

‘Do you have a Modern Family text chain going?’ Andy said.

‘Yes, of course,’ Sofia said. ‘It’s super funny because Ed O’Neill, who is a lot older than all of us, he will …he doesn’t really do it like the right way. He’ll answer like 26 weeks later, some joke or some question.’

‘Ed O’Neill?’ Andy asked.

‘He’s the love of my life,’ Sofia said.

‘Kevin Hart?’ Andy asked.

Andy asked her if there was one episode of Modern Family she remembers as her favorite. Sofia said there was one during the second season where they did a Halloween episode.

‘For some reason we couldn’t get it together,’ Sofia said. ‘Ed O’Neill was dressed as a gargoyle, I was a witch.’

Sofia said they just kept laughing.

Andy played a clip of Sofia’s new show that showed her getting physically violent.

‘What connected you to the story of Griselda?’ Andy asked.

‘I was very interested in that woman because I had never heard of her,’ Sofia said. ‘I grew up in Colombia in that era, the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s.’

‘We all knew who all the big narcos were and we all knew the business,’ Sofia said. ‘And I have never heard of a woman.’

‘She was as big as these guys with the killing, with the money, with the dealings,’ Sofia said. ‘Amazing in a bad way what this woman did. The most interesting part of me is that this woman did it while raising four kids.’

One of the virtual fans asked Sofia what she thought of Catherine Zeta-Jones, 54, portraying Griselda in the Lifetime television movie Cocaine Godmother.

‘I was, I think, offered the role,’ Sofia said. ‘I don’t know if it was before or after her. For some reason, I got that script and that was never what I wanted this to be. I said I think there is something different that needs to happen with this character. I said no to that because I was almost ready to bring Griselda to life.’

‘I threw my phone then picked it up …everybody was texting me,’ Sofia said. ‘It was super exciting. I love him. ‘

Andy asked if she had an all-time favorite act on America’s Got Talent. Sofia singled out her 2022 Golden Buzzer pick The Mayyas all-female dance group that won season 17 of AGT.

‘It was the most mesmerizing,’ Sofia said.
