CBSE Results 2024: Notification for verification of marks, re-evaluation, photocopy of answer sheets released
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will “shortly” announce the Class 10, 12 board results. Once released, the marksheets will be available at the official CBSE website — cbse.gov.in.
However, today (May 7) the Board that after the declaration of result, if the students are not satisfied with their performance communicated through results, CBSE will provide students an opportunity for verification of marks, facility to obtain the Photocopy of their evaluated answer books and the re-evaluation of their answers thereafter.
Verification schedule
As per the official schedule, the verification of marks will be available from the fourth day from date of declaration of result to eighth day from date of declaration of result.
Students can obtain scanned photocopy or the evaluated answer books from the 19th day from date of declaration of result to 20th day from date of declaration of result.
Re-evaluation of answer sheets will be done from the 24th day from date of declaration of result to 25th day from date of declaration of result.
CBSE also added that all activities are time bound and can be availed only online. “It has been observed that many students and parents approached to the CBSE after last date is over for availing these facilities on one or another pretext. It is informed that these activities are time bound and can be availed only online. No request after last date and in offline mode will be accepted by the Board as this breaches important examination safety protocol,” CBSE said in an official notice.
The Board also added that the detailed modalities for applying for verification of marks, obtaining photocopy of the
evaluated answer Book(s), and re-evaluation of the answers for the candidates who have appeared for the CBSE board exams 2024 and the actual schedule will be issued once the result is declared.
